Grid escape
Multi-player, spatial puzzle game, start everyone in the same square away from the escape. Everyone has shared goal of escaping (ideally together but not required) but also their own individual objectives. Eg some players have more incentive to escape together (players could be siblings, + more reward if they both make it), etc. At every square you enter, it automatically deducts from your points. Choosing different boxes to physically explore also comes with different rewards and penalities. In the end, players must communicate (truthfully or not) where to move and how to get out.
And then there were some?
A twist on Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None, where these strangers end up on an island after invitation. The storm stops any of them from leaving, stranding them with each other. People start dying off one at a time, player is dropped in as one of these people and must figure things out before they get picked off and killed. However, a twist is revealed that it’s actually multiple of these “killed” party guests’ scheme to collectively get one person: the player, and they must escape before its too late. This would be some sort of embeded mystery narrative with puzzles to piece together in various physical rooms.
Sailing Odyssey Game
Sailing in Poseidon’s Seas after blinding the Cyclops, the player must attempt to make it home to Ithaca. The only thing is, the player is not Odysseus. Can the player break off early enough to not get taken by fate? Or will they be tempted by the series of choices to not make it home to their family. A game of puzzles, trickery, and choice (or the appearance of it).
