This week is all about developing a vocabulary for discussing games.

Week 2

This week we explore how games can teach us a skill or impart factual knowledge. In A Theory of Fun for Game Design, Raph Koster argues the nature of fun is learning and the joy of mastery. So why is school not very fun most of hte time? (or is it?)
