Hi everyone, I’m Yuan (she/her)! I’m currently a master’s student focusing on Chinese linguistics, and I’m really excited to be part of this class. Outside of school, I’m a huge fan of multiplayer games, especially the kind that get completely chaotic with friends.
My all-time favorite is Rubber Monsters because the physics are completely ridiculous and every game somehow turns into total chaos with friends. Even when we try to play normally, something stupid always happens, which is honestly the best part. Lately, I’ve also been playing The Headliners, a co-op horror game where you play as journalists trying to get good monster photos without getting killed. The idea alone is already hilarious, and I really love how it’s both stressful and funny at the same time. I think my favorite kinds of games are the ones that create those messy, unpredictable moments everyone ends up laughing about later.
