Team norms — Team 21

    • Norms
      • Communicate and explicitly explain what needs to be done and have a pretty good understanding of how the subtask should be done
        • (e.g., design a physical prototype for a door in our escape room, share that design, once approved by all go to PRL to develop)
      • Provide constructive feedback for people
      • Be honest about limitations & skills
        • If you don’t know how to do something, it’s better to ask than be scared and not do it at all / delineate something to someone else
      • Make sure all team decisions are approved by everyone & its consensual
      • Being explicit about delegated work, and make sure everyone knows what to do and what they’re comfortable doing
        • Make a checklist of tasks with everyone there
      • Establish a comfortable environment for people to voice their thoughts and capacity
      • Assume best intent – if someone dropped the ball without a previous pattern of repeated dropping the ball, then a side conversation that gives them space to be honest always helps
    • Task management system
      • Google Docs/Sheets
        • Checklist for delineating tasks
        • Sheets for coding necessities
