Three Directions
- 2D Platformer: We were thinking of a sort of side-scrolling game where the squirrel sneaks past barriers & forest enemies to collect acorns. This utilizes squirrel movement dynamics like hiding, climbing, gliding, and dashing, and employs challenge and discovery fun.
- Scavenger Hunt: This direction for the game would be a top-down 3d word, potentially utilizing isometric low-poly designs where squirrels have to find acorns before winter arrives. This employs narrative and discovery types of fun.
- Puzzle Levels: Each level is some sort of memory that the squirrel relives from before the robbery. Players must pass each level to collect more acorns and create a more lively home environment. This employs the sensation and challenge types of fun.
