Escape Room in a Box – Gingerbread House

Direction 1: Players play as a group of kids who accidentally wandered in a gingerbread house. While at first they are excited by all the candy, they soon find out that not only are they trapped, they are not alone. The gingerbread man is coming for them. Players must complete a series of tasks to avoid the gingerbread man in the house and also escape from the house. Unbeknownst to any of the players, there is a mole (the mole knows who they are). The mole intentionally led them to the gingerbread man’s house as he is his assistant. The mole’s job is to make the players get caught, without raising suspicion. (Maybe include smthn here for the mole getting caught by players?)

End game conditions: Players run out of time or get caught – Mole wins; Players escape – All but the mole wins and the mole is eaten by the gingerbread man for failing

Direction 2: Players play as gingerbread men. They have been born into this world for some reason that they don’t understand. The room they are in is huge (or they are small). One thing is for sure, they are not safe. The half-eaten corpse of one their brothers nearby confirms this. Players must solve puzzles and work their way out of this giant room before the baker returns.

End game conditions: Players run out of time – All players lose; Players escape – All players win

Direction 3: Rather than this being an escape room, All players are contestants on a team baking show. They must solve puzzles to gain ingredients and bake their sweet treats and hopefully win.

End game conditions: Players don’t get all of their ingredients/bake them in time – Players lose; Players get all ingredients + bake them in time – Players win
