Team Norms

Team Norms

  1. Share workload fairly, and communicate asap if you have any concerns about finishing your work. Keep group meetings on track, be flexible with teammates.
  2. Come to class and communicate with the team if you have to miss class (because we’ll be playtesting our game).
  3. Communicate frequently and not too last minute (unless it’s crunch time lmao).
  4. Treat each other with respect and dignity.
  5. Be mindful of the space you occupy in a conversation, and make space for others.
  6. Don’t shoot other people’s ideas down. Start with what you like from someone’s idea.
  7. Comment and critique the design, not the designer.
  8. When hearing or responding to ideas, assume best intent for others, listen carefully, and avoid interrupting people.
  9. Use “I” statements when sharing opinions, and acknowledge impact and personal biases for yourself.
  10. Have fun! Be kind! And share the joy!
