Narrative Directions

Direction 1 – Investigation RPG

This direction focuses on investigation and dialogue as the core gameplay. Players explore the town, question residents, examine crime scenes, and collect clues related to the disappearances. As they progress, they unlock new dialogue options and make decisions about who to trust. Rather than only relying on combat, the game emphasizes observation, deduction, and narrative choices. The story unfolds through conversations, documents, and environmental details, encouraging players to piece together the mystery themselves.

Direction 2 – Psychological Horror Exploration

In this direction, the town itself becomes part of the mystery. As the player explores, the environment subtly changes—streets become unfamiliar, buildings appear abandoned, and landmarks shift over time. There are very few traditional puzzles; instead, the player’s goal is to observe changes, discover hidden paths, and interpret environmental clues. This approach creates constant anxiety and uncertainty, making exploration feel tense even when nothing is actively chasing the player.

Direction 3 – Choice-Driven Narrative RPG

This direction places the greatest emphasis on player choice and relationships with the town folks. Every conversation, investigation, and decision influences how characters respond and how the story develops. Some residents may become allies, while others hide dangerous secrets or betray the player. Multiple endings are determined by the player’s actions rather than combat performance, encouraging replayability and allowing players to experience different interpretations of the town’s mystery.
