Narrative Directions

Direction 1: The Temple Cure

The most classic narrative direction for this game is an ancient temple adventure. The player enters the temple to search for the cure to a sleeping curse that has fallen over their village. As they move deeper inside, they solve puzzles based on symbols, pressure plates, hidden keys, and ancient mechanisms. The story is paced through exploration, with each room revealing more about the curse and bringing the player closer to the cure.

Direction 2: The Sleeping Village (point and click)

This direction begins in the village before the player enters the temple. Everyone has mysteriously fallen asleep, and the player must search through homes, journals, and abandoned objects to understand what happened. These clues eventually lead them to the temple, where the player uses what they learned in the village to solve puzzles inside. This version makes the story more emotional because the player sees who they are trying to save before beginning the main adventure.

Direction 3: The Wrong Cure

This direction focuses on mystery and decision-making. The explorer finds multiple possible cures inside the temple, but only one will actually save the village. The puzzles help reveal which cure is real and which ones are traps. Instead of simply grabbing the first glowing object they see, the player has to pay attention to symbols, ingredients, and clues throughout the environment. This version creates more tension because the player’s final choice determines whether they truly break the curse.
