- Respond to messages within 24-48 hours
- Be proactive in asking clarifying questions
- Be communicative about your schedule/when you are free/when are you able to finish a part of an assignment
- Be respectful of other’s opinions – listen carefully, don’t be judgemental
- Understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and have different expectations, so don’t assume your teammates know something you know beforehand
- Split roles and responsibilities evenly, and make sure everyone is on the same page
- Have regular check-ins (once a week)
- Finish the assigned task on time
- Speak your opinions directly — if there is something you are uncomfortable about, speak up about it
