Mindmap: Narrative Architecture

My examples were as follows:

Evocative Spaces: Spider-Man (2018), for its detailed and vibrant depiction of New York City.
Enacting Stories: Telltale’s The Walking Dead, since it tells a story using a combination of player choices and fixed cutscenes.
Embedded Narratives: Bendy and the Ink Machine, since much of its lore and backstory must be pieced together by the player based on audio logs, level decoration, NPC designs, and other embedded features.
Emergent Narratives: Among Us, since each match features the same tasks and environment but still allows for a unique narrative and progression of events depending on the players’ choices.
