I apologize but one of my major take aways is that I DO NOT play games where narrative is a part of the game. My family’s favorite game (The Crew) has an entire booklet of enacted stories and we have NEVER read any of them. I tried really really hard to add a game I have played [since there are none that meet the criteria of personally love] in each of the types of use of story in games but if those feel like a stretch (because they are) please see the other examples for better example games.
