My name is Leyth, and I use He/Him pronouns.
My favorite game of all time is probably Destiny 2, it’s a game I’ve sunk like 4,000 hours into over the years and I think there’s a bit of stockholm syndrome going on there. I’ve spent a ton of time improving alongside my friends, overcoming challenges and obstacles collaboratively which was definitely a lot of the fun. The story and narrative arcs that have unfolded over the last 10 years have also been really cool to Witness!
I also have to mention Pokémon, which is tied for my favorite game/franchise. I also have interned at Pokémon GO the last couple summers and am going back after I graduate so if you play let me know!
Recently I’ve been playing a bunch of Marathon, which is a new extraction shooter made by the same developers as Destiny 2. I generally dislike PvP shooters, but I’ve really enjoyed the unique aesthetics of Marathon, along with the really deep, and hidden world building and environmental storytelling Marathon uses. That along with all of Bungie’s amazing game juice in the form of visual and sound design, makes the game incredibly satisfying to play, even if I dislike the genre.
