Pokemon Black & White are my favorite games of all time. I love games that are full of tiny attention-to-details and Pokemon BW is full of them (environments changing with the seasons, the drums in the music only playing when you walk, etc.). The music is incredible as well and the charming mix of 2D and 3D graphics makes it stand out visually even though it’s on such weak hardware.
My favorite game in recent times is Deltarune. The game’s ability to build intrigue and mystery chapter by chapter is phenomenal and it has some of the most charming and authentic portrayals of friendship I’ve seen in media.
