P1: Tiny playable prototype notes

  • “Worst is ambiguous”. We should have a stricter definition as well as a grading criteria. Also reframe the worst so b/c there’s a negative connotation. Also there can be different design categories (in addition to worst, maybe most sustainable, most affordable, etc)
  • Constraints should be related to a user journey (for example design X for Y rather than design X with Y)
    • For example – They really liked “design for people who like weightlifting”
  • Maybe we should add a “functional” success criteria. Or maybe a definition with each topic word?
  • Judge got a little bored because they have 2 minutes to do nothing
  • No clear order of who goes first
  • Topics and constraints need to be more specific and refined
  • 5 players were still a lot of 5 players and took more time. Maybe limit to 3-4 players
  • Time limit to pitch?
  • Wasn’t able to learn; needed more scaffolding if the intention is to learn about design thinking. Need a stronger framework.
    • TLDR it needs to be more strongly tied to details of the design thinking process. More scaffolding
