Possible Directions:

My main thoughts regarding gameplay were about how we want to challenge the player throughout the exploration. I feel there are three primary directions that we can mix and match between:

  • Fighting based, challenge through battle with companions you acquire as you go through the story
  • Traditional puzzle based, piecing together items, runes, and riddles to reach an end goal and uncover the story
  • Scavenging style, acquiring items for characters throughout the story in order to reach your end goal, requiring you to learn about the world through companionship as you progress
