3 game directions:

  1. Incorporate challenge/accomplishment fun. Each room solves a puzzle that gets closer to discovering the truth about Gingy being evil/his evil backstory. To solve a room you have to find 3 symbols and put it into a digital companion website that tells you if they’re correct.
  2. Write a companion booklet that contains narration for each room (embedded narrative). The story follows the baker boy who wants to be Gingy’s apprentice so climbs up a magical mountain to his gingerbread house, but then gets trapped in his house and realizes he’s evil.
  3. Fellowship – you solve the house in teams of 2, with teams competing against each other to escape faster. You can start on opposite sides of the house but all teams want to find some secret key to unlock the door to escape the house.
