Checkpoint 0: Team Norms

Team members: Lisa Ing, Caroline Tran, Jenny Tao, Barry Cheung.

  1. Practice transparent communication by clearly outlining scheduling and work capacities. Example: “I have academic commitments at this time, but I can meet after my other deadlines are met.”
  2. Clear allocation of work: we will divide the labor amongst each teammate depending on skill set and capacity.
  3. We agree to hold similar levels of commitment to the deliverable so we can put equal amounts of efforts towards the project.
  4. Accountability schedule through meeting checkpoints and informal check ins.
  5. At team meetings, each person should contribute to creating the meeting agenda so that every person is caught up on different developments of the project.
  6. Plan meetings as needed: we agree on a linear schedule for project deliverables, but flexibly schedule meetings as needed.
  7. Consistent progress: we agree to abide by the class’s informal checkpoint deliverables so we can avoid cramming too much before the project deadline.
  8. Central resource management through a project Google Sheet and Google Drive. Our project spreadsheet will be linked in our team slack.
