How complex do our prototypes need to be to have player traction and engagement?
A game that is too simple can easily be overlooked if it’s both not visually nor mechanically entertaining. So, it is important to evaluate
to what extent will we develop our prototype.
How exactly do we incorporate physical aspects to our prototype?
We need to specify just how much of a physical aspect we want to incorporate. If it’s too tedious and straining, it might take away playability and potentially risking its reachability to certain audiences.
How do we keep mini-games to be less entertaining than our main game?
Given that we want to incorporate mini-games into our “main” game, these have to be quick and not deter attention from our main game. Also, since these will be utilized as a way to increase our in-game quantifiers (ink/time), how do we keep track of these?
