Hi! My name is Susan (she/her) and I’m a senior and coterm studying computer science and minoring in psychology. My all-time favorite game is Pokemon HeartGold; it does an amazing job drawing in new players and fans while also building on nostalgia for older players who played the original Pokemon Gold. I admire how it balances a mix of old and new and delights all users with new features, expanded stories, and creates a more vivid world that even now, represents the world of Pokemon best. As a whole, I love the Pokemon franchise because it revolves around the idea of achieving dreams through relationships, fun, and passion. Most recently, I played Pokemon Legends of Arceus and liked how it was a very different game from the core Pokemon games. It’s experimental, 3D, and although it keeps the core ideas of Pokemon the same, it approaches these ideas in a completely new way where it felt like I was playing Pokemon for the first time again.
