Playtest 1 – Wednesday, November 6th

 

“How do I win?”

 

Player taking some time to understand all the moving parts → How will we create a ‘tutorial’ introducing each part of the system?

 

Realizes that first turn is limited

 

A rogue cat attacks your base: “wowww!” Game noise

 

A bit complicated with the event choices. 

 

Lost → 0 strength

 

Always needs food

 

“I mean… I Get Nothing for risking it” – Player was stuck in a negative loop that made game mechanical. 

 

Feedback:

“I feel like I don’t have a choice because I just need to survive”

 

Losing was too punishing
