Is it a “meaningful” choice if it the choice conveys the same information but sets a different tone/mood?
One of my playetesters gave me the feedback that despite knowing that loops end in death before the final win, she wants to feel “in control”. How can you help players feel more “in control”? Do more choices help or making the choices that exist more impactful on the story?
