My favorite game of all time is Civilization because I love planning and surprises. Civ lets me make grand plans while also ruining my plans just enough with surprising events. It’s the perfect balance! I also love the feeling of satisfaction I get when I complete a building, especially one that took a long time.
A recent game I played that I like the NYT mini. It’s like a crossword, but mini. I like it because it’s simpler than a crossword, so it doesn’t take as long, but it’s still a fun puzzle to do when I have a bit of time. It’s nice because I don’t have much time to play games that take a while, so having something I can pick up quickly and actually complete is great.
