  1. Really cool idea, I think you have the tone and aesthetics down. I like the mechanics and am always for having a playground that your player can learn from although I wonder if that is necessary for the whole game environment or if that can be just one piece and then there’s another piece for showing off the skills you learn (like boss fights and combat levels). One concern that I have is that you have aspirations for the game to be mind-bending and thought-provoking but there is always a constraint of time pressure that might prevent you from seeing this ideal to completion. I would probably urge you to put as much effort into the story/narrative so you can craft a mind-bending tone as you put in the gameplay, graphics, etc.
