Favorite game of all time: 还愿 (Devotion) — I love how untraditional, story-driven, and psychologically haunting it is, all without relying on cheap jump scares. It’s lightweight but deeply impactful, rooted in cultural memory and personal trauma. It would be my dream to create something like this someday — I truly believe story and writing are the soul of any game. (I’m a solo player and not really into social games, so narrative means everything to me.)
Recent game I enjoyed: Disco Elysium. I was forced to play it while hungover by a friend — and it ended up being the perfect game for a hungover existential spiral. I loved the mix of political thought, philosophical tension, and idealistic dreams alongside absurd reality. It felt too real, and that’s probably why I loved it.
