A game I enjoy is Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNAF). FNAF has a mix of interaction loops and arcs but its architecture is built around tension and repeated learning. The main interaction loop is that the player checks camera, manages doors/lights, watches power, receives feedback from the animatronics’ movements, and then they update their mental model of how each animatronic behaves and what types of signals to be aware of. These loops happen at different frequencies because the player has to check things like cameras and lights all the time. Surviving the night is an example of a slower loop that builds towards the next challenge of surviving the next day and eventually beating the game. The arcs happen through phone calls which connect to the hidden lore.
