Hi friends!
My name is Jeffery, you can call me either Jeffery or Jeff. I’m a first year MSME student doing a depth in robotics. I use he/him pronouns.
Asking my favorite game of all time is really difficult because I have so many favorites in different genres. I think, at its peak, the game I enjoyed the most is Teamfight Tactics. When I was at my most unemployed, I was easily putting in 14 hours a day into the game (although never really climbing past M 200LP…). I really enjoy games that are competitive and have complex decision trees. I especially enjoy games where it feels like you can always improve, no matter your level.
Recently, I’ve been playing a lot of Slay the Spire 2 (45 hours as of writing — it seems we have an unofficial leaderboard in this class) and Master Duel. I love card games and rogue-likes in general, so it’s a no-brainer that I was going to love StS2. I love how card games handle resource management, and I enjoy the unpredictability and infinite replay-ability of rogue-likes. I’m also trying to get into playing TCGs so that I can at least go outside to play card games for an unhealthy number of hours instead of doing it at my desk. If anyone plays Yu-Gi-Oh please reach out! I’m very new but I would love to play.
Looking forward to meeting and working with all of you!
