  1. Prion Disease Game
    1. You make prions by putting game pieces on the board in certain configurations, everyone has a different configuration that is assigned to them. One person is the “bad actor” and has to mess up other peoples’ protein folding in order to initiate a prion disease. The game ends once the other players discover who the “bad actor” is, or if the other players don’t know who the “bad actor” is after a round of playing then the “bad actor” wins
    2. The narrative here is an emergent narrative, as there is no particular narrative already assigned to the story. The type of fun is hard fun, in the context of competitive fun as people have to compete against everyone else who is also trying their best to win.
  2. Divorce game
    1. This game needs an even number of players. Players are randomly assigned together to be “couples”. Each couple competes together and tries to sabotage other couples in their race to reach the courthouse at the center of the board by placing differently weighted tokens, in order to finally dissolve their matrimony for good.
    2. The narrative here is also an emergent narrative. The type of fun is also hard fun.
  3. AI Versus Trees
    1. One team of players is on the AI side, the other team of players is on the trees’ side. The AI-aligned players try to protect their data center while cutting down as many trees as possible. The trees try to use the strength of their roots to take down the data center and weaken the AI-aligned players so that future trees’ offspring are saved from the harmful environmental effects of AI.
    2. The narrative here is also an emergent narrative. The type of fun is also hard fun.
