My all-time favorite game has to be Stardew Valley. It was the first game I truly got lost in and despite having so much to do, the tasks never felt overwhelming thanks to its thoughtful design. I also have mad respect for ConcernedApe, who created Stardew Valley by himself. You can really feel the love and care he poured into it. Plus, the soundtrack is amazing. I really want to go to a Stardew Valley concert!
A recent game I’ve really enjoyed is Bloons TD 6. I had a blast strategizing with my boyfriend as we tried to maximize banana farms and destroy the MOABs without losing lives. It got super chaotic, which made it even more fun (level 207 got so crazy). At one point, we had been playing for so long that my MacBook started overheating and lagging. It was hilarious and kind of impressive how much the game pushed it.
