One game I really enjoy playing is Terraria. Here, the game utilizes several different mini arcs, since as you progress you slowly interact with different NPCs and fight different bosses. In fact, you generally can’t move onto the next part of the game without completing the current arc you’re in. It’s pretty much a ton of compound interactions. For example, to beat a certain boss or to unlock a certain part of the world, you need to first obtain this item and then beat this event. I really like this kind of structure since it makes progression feel not only a lot more natural, but much more earned as well, which keeps me locked in and hooked while playing!
