The three ideas I wanted to evoke with my mood board were cozy, exploration, and growth.

Direction 1:
You are an explorer on an expedition in faraway lands accompanied by your pet cat. However, after a small incident, your cat has run away and gotten lost! Explore various dungeons and forests, gathering supplies and abilities to search for your pet and making new friends along the way. As you progress, you’ll find yourself growing stronger and learning more about this world you’ve stumbled upon! This game direction would primarily be catered towards discovery, narrative, and challenging fun.
Direction 2:
You are a young traveler with the dream of soaring through the sky among the birds and clouds. But one day while you are out traveling in the forest, you accidentally fall deep down into a ravine ending up in a village inhabited by orcs! Find a way to work with them to find your way back to the surface — and possibly climb even higher than that. As you slowly make it closer to the top of the ravine, you will encounter various villages and inhabitants each with unique stories and abilities. This game direction would be focused on fellowship and fantasy.
Direction 3:
You are part of a mystical group called the “Sky people”, a group of nomads who live among the clouds in the sky. From a young age, you’ve always been interested in what happens on the surface of the planet and what kinds of beings exist there. One day, as you are wandering the edge of a cloud trying to get a better look, you accidentally trip and fall all the way down to the ground! Make your way through various villages and environments to gather the supplies needed to make your way back home. This game direction would focus on sensation, challenge, and expression.
