Hi everyone! I’m Jen (she/her), and I’ve been playing video games essentially my whole life. I’m a recently declared SymSys major on the HCI track after being on the Pre-Law track for my first two years at Stanford. I’ve always had a side passion for design and decided to make it my academic focus to work on designing and managing products.
As a prettyyyy big gamer, it’s hard for me to choose one specific game but the one with the most hours to back it up would be Valorant! It’s a game where skillful mechanics, game sense, and teamwork are all needed to succeed, which I absolutely love especially for late nights with friends. For a recent game I enjoyed, I’d choose Pico Park or Party Animals — both collaborative games with friends where you play as cute animals. I’m also a pretty big speedrunner, enjoy playing games to completion, and love games with exploration — Genshin Impact to Maple Story.
