I’m Hadil (she/her), a 1st year Design Grad student from Jordan.
Below is my photo with my favourite game, Set. I just love how simple the game is, and for someone who is not great (or suscks actually) at video games, I love that it doesn’t need a lot of brain-hand coordination. I am also a visual person, and this game allows me to flex this game.
I am so good at Set that my friends would not play it with me unless:
- They get 2 extra cards in their hands to form sets with. Or
- I have to wait for 3 seconds after saying set, in which time they can claim the set if they find it.
The last game that I played was on finals week, it was Codenames which I also like a lot. I find it interesting seeing how people try to cennct different things in one word, usually it brings up something unexpected. It was also fun playing it this time to connect with other lab CAs.
I’m very excited for this class!
