Potential Directions
- 1. The present is fine (maybe normal, even), but the main character’s life is just fucked tbh – they go back to change the future and make themselves into something better in the present.
- 2. The main character stumbles into this portal in ruins that takes them to the past in a busy marketplace, and when they come back to the present, after only about 5 minutes in the past, the whole present is changed for the worse. They go back to try to understand which action caused what and how to stop it.
- 3. The main character is a little kid playing around, and accidentally goes back into the past and grows up there. When they figure out a way to go back to the present, it’s totally change for the worse, and they have to figure out how to change it back.
