Favorite game of all time… too many to pick from!!! I love Animal Crossing, Sims, all the Mario Games, Overcooked, It Takes Two, Just Dance, Minecraft, Fortnite, Roblox (all my Dress to Impress baddies please rise), BS, Loba, Cambio, Mafia, Nervous, Loteria, Checkers, Monopoly, and the list goes on. I honestly love all kinds of games—digital, card, board—they’re all so fun.
I’ll elaborate on my love for Animal Crossing. I’ve been playing it since I was 5 years old when I got the pink Nintendo DS Lite. I saw my older cousin playing Animal Crossing Wild World on her DS, so that was the first game I bought on mine. I fell in love, never understood Resetti because I was too young, improved my reading a ton, and my friend gifted me Animal Crossing: City Folk on the Wii for my 6th birthday. This same friend and I both got 3DS’s in 3rd grade, and we both got Animal Crossing: New Leaf. We would FaceTime and play for hourssssssss, developing and resetting our towns, evicting ugly villagers, visiting each other’s towns, and more. At 16, I pre-ordered Animal Crossing: New Horizons on my nintendo switch, and since school shut down for the rest of the year shortly thereafter, I was beyond locked in on my island. I love Animal Crossing so much that I wrote one of my college supplementals on Tom Nook and capitalism. When Build-a-Bear dropped Animal Crossing Build-a-Bear, I stood in the virtual queue for 3+ hours to get Tom Nook and K.K. Slider. And, of course, I have the Animal Crossing Limited Edition Nintendo Switch.
I love Tom Nook though tap into his lore he’s misunderstood.
Recent game I’ve enjoyed is the card game, Cambio! I’m loving it because it requires mad strategy and memory, and I’ve been playing it with friends.
