Tester: Renee – Stanford CS Coterm
During Playtest:
- Jokingly predicted something bad would happen
- Liked the dog
- Was surprised by the twist
Post Playtest Feedback:
Liked layout of different rooms
Storyline good
- Did not like that the Grandfather died (Player’s grandparents “are all dead”)
- She made me write those words into the notes ^
- More story
- Wants more world building/characterization (which makes sense considering I was narrating the playtest without a script)
- Multiple “normal” days, 4 tasks over 2 days maybe, so still can’t do everything, but more to explore.
- After the destruction, fire should get worse depending on order you visit places
- For example, being just too late to save someone.
- Graphics could be improved (Yes definitely)
- Grandma’s photo was brutalizing (sad details)
- Liked the first day when the dogs were playing before everything bad happened
- I think making the first day actually enjoyable will go a long way in actually creating emotion after the “destruction”
- Just wants everyone to be alive “is that too much to ask for”
