P2 Tiny Prototype Notes – Leyth Toubassy

Tester: Renee – Stanford CS Coterm

During Playtest:

  • Jokingly predicted something bad would happen
  • Liked the dog
  • Was surprised by the twist

Post Playtest Feedback:

Liked layout of different rooms

Storyline good

  • Did not like that the Grandfather died (Player’s grandparents “are all dead”)
    • She made me write those words into the notes ^
  • More story
    • Wants more world building/characterization (which makes sense considering I was narrating the playtest without a script)
  • Multiple “normal” days, 4 tasks over 2 days maybe, so still can’t do everything, but more to explore.
  • After the destruction, fire should get worse depending on order you visit places
    • For example, being just too late to save someone.
  • Graphics could be improved (Yes definitely)
  • Grandma’s photo was brutalizing (sad details)
  • Liked the first day when the dogs were playing before everything bad happened
    • I think making the first day actually enjoyable will go a long way in actually creating emotion after the “destruction”
  • Just wants everyone to be alive “is that too much to ask for”
