Narrative Directions

Direction 1

This is a two-player mystery investigation game in which each player possesses unique clues and pieces of evidence that the other cannot access. Some information is exclusive to one player’s perspective, requiring them to thoroughly explore their environment to uncover critical details. While players can choose to collaborate to solve the overarching mystery, each also has an individual objective that may not fully align with the other’s, creating inherent tension and opportunities for deception or strategic withholding. The game is designed as a point-and-click narrative detective experience, played across two separate screens. Players communicate through an in-game chat system and can choose to share specific clues by clicking to pin them to a shared evidence board. This collaborative interface allows for real-time coordination, but also invites social strategy, where players must constantly decide how much to reveal, what to withhold, and whether to prioritize collective truth-seeking or personal goals. The interplay between asymmetric information and interpersonal negotiation forms the core of the gameplay experience.

Direction 2

The player arrives in a small, mysterious village populated by eccentric characters, each possessing their own unique magical abilities. Stepping into the role of the village’s junior investigator, the player begins solving a range of everyday cases, from tracking down lost items and uncovering why a student refuses to attend school, to more serious investigations like locating missing children or identifying a thief. These cases not only help the player rise through the ranks of the village police force but also grant access to confidential records and restricted areas, bringing them closer to uncovering the truth about their forgotten childhood and the whereabouts of their missing mother. The game is a narrative-driven point-and-click adventure, combining dialogue-based interactions—where players click through conversations and choose responses, with environmental exploration to gather evidence. Progress depends on both logical deduction and social navigation, as players uncover the secrets of the town and themselves, one case at a time.

Direction 3

Set in a forgotten ghost town, the player takes on the role of a gifted medium with the rare ability to communicate with the dead. Their mission is to help lingering spirits resolve their final regrets—whether by uncovering the identity of their murderer, reconnecting them with lost loved ones, or piecing together the circumstances of their death. Acting as a bridge between the living and the dead, the player must explore both realms, navigating a shared map to investigate people, places, and objects that hold hidden truths. The gameplay revolves around environmental exploration and narrative interaction. Players move through the town, switching between the physical and spiritual worlds to uncover clues, interact with living residents and ghostly figures, and examine significant items. Dialogue unfolds through interactive conversation sequences, where players select from response options that shape the story and affect outcomes. Mourning rituals and emotional interactions add further depth, as players must choose how to support each spirit’s final request. In return, the player earns rewards in the form of money and luck, progressing their own story while guiding lost souls to peace.
