Based on our narrative, here are some possible directions for the game
Set levels per season
In this game, players progress through four distinct levels per season, each offering unique opportunities for discovery and exploration. As they navigate through space, the primary objective is to locate and retrieve specific plants. Interaction with the environment is key, with activities like throwing stones, washing objects in the river, and knocking down trees to progress. Each new season not only brings a change in scenery but also introduces a fresh gameplay mechanic, enhancing the player’s experience with new spirits or historical elements to uncover.
Tease of companionship, isolation
As the main character progresses through the game, they gain abilities that align them more closely with the forest, such as accelerating growth and summoning rain with the aid of a water spirit. Initially, the main character encounters the water spirit early in their journey. However, their abilities are initially too limited to sustain the presence of the water spirit, leading to its temporary departure until the main character’s powers are sufficiently developed.
Spirit RPG
With each season, they gain the ability to play as the spirits of water, fire, and animal for fall, winter, and spring respectively. They can alternate between the spirits. Each spirit offers unique abilities that aid in solving puzzles and overcoming challenges during their adventures. The water spirit is introduced in the fall, the fire spirit in the winter, and the animal spirit in the spring, adding seasonal thematic depth and variety to the gameplay.
