Proximity in the design:
I think that the answer choices (Font of Cheese) can be grouped together. Doing so allows the character to easily choose between the two. The name of the font/cheese should stand alone for the player to focus on it.
A game I think is beautiful:
The most beautiful game I have ever seen is Ghosts of Tsushima. I have never actually played it myself, but my boyfriend frequently plays it while I sit beside him. I’ll find myself looking up from whatever I’m doing to admire the graphics. The game has an incredible amount of detail (the skin texture on the characters is amazing!).
Ghosts of Tsushima uses size to make it feel more realistic. Playing with size affects perspective. For example, if the main character is running through a field and the camera perspective is from the ground, blades of grass will become increasingly larger until they exit into the background. At the same time, the main character’s size will remain constant to show we are running with him.
Ghosts of Tsushima also uses color to bring attention to certain events or actions. For example, during a “spar,” if two swords clash against each other, bright, yellow embers will emanate from them to let the player know what has just happened. Seeing these bright embers during a spar in a dark, rainy setting is especially beautiful.
Lastly, I have posted a screenshot of my favorite scene from Ghosts of Tsushima. The background is full of vibrant colors such as white and red, while the character is in dark clothing. This contrast draws attention to the main character, and his dark clothing reminds the player of the mission to save his people.
