Hello folks!
This blog is a home for all my game design classes. Winter 2022 at Stanford, I am holding a serious games Study Group to “replace” the cancelled 377G. Please put all posts into the SPSG category!
We will be doing three things. We will be
- Reading, with optional sketchnotes
- Doing critical play exercises, where we apply the learnings from our readings to games to better understand them
- Making games, larger and small and playtesting them
No matter how many credits you are taking this independent study for, you must be available to playtest. A game cannot be known until it is played.
