Hi Everyone!
My name is Mina (she/her), and I’m a junior studying CS AI and HCI.
My favorite game of all time is a Vietnamese card game called Tiến Lên. I have a lot of great memories playing it with family, and I love the strategy embedded in the game. Because everyone’s cards are hidden, players must anticipate other’s moves, read each other’s bluffs, and decide how aggressive they want to play. Also, there is also a lot of chance and luck from the random starting deck deal which makes each game different.
A recent game I enjoyed was Minecraft. I just redownloaded it and have been playing it nonstop. I really like how creative you can make the builds, and it has a really easy learning curve. There is also a component of escapability where you’re creating and surviving in their own world. Because of that, players can decide how simple or complex they make their experience.
