Emotions to evoke: chill, emergence, fellowship, surprise
Other ideas:
- the cooking mechanics should not just be a slider to show when food is cooked. It should contain a sweet spot (or multiple) and you should be able to serve customers incorrectly cooked food (akin Papa’s Cupcakearia)
- there should be a customer type that is very noisy, probably teenagers. They should not be a different type of alien, instead each type of alien should have teenagers with like a skateboard or a baseball cap (inspired by Diner Dash)
- similar to the teenagers, there should be a family. Maybe they ask you to take photos of them continuously until they get the “perfect” photo (like in Diner Dash), maybe it’s something else.
- there should be a jukebox
- there should be a newspaper with headlines when something notable happens, like being raided by space pirates
- there should be a milkshake (it’s a diner after all) with 2 straws, but instead of 2 people slurping it’s an alien with 2 mouths
- for the slugs, they should be inconvenient bc they leave slime behind them. At first you can only clean it up, but then you can also buy a bucket to collect it and use it as an ingredient at the bar
