Bloons Tower Defense 6 is the sixth entry in the Bloons TD series, a tower defense game in which the player places monkeys (the towers) to destroy incoming balloons. There are several kinds of monkeys: magic monkeys (wizards, druids), military monkeys (snipers, helicopters), heroes, and more. There are also different types of balloons: camo balloons, regrow balloons, balloons that, when popped, release more balloons, lead balloons, fortified balloons, etc.
This game represents several kinds of fun for me, with the core ones being sense pleasure, abnegation, and challenge. The game has a bright and fun color palette, and the different monkeys are really adorable. Additionally, the music and sound effects are comforting and enjoyable to listen to. When I first began to play this game, it was challenging since I didn’t know about the dynamics of the game. However, as I’ve progressed, I know which monkey combinations work well and it is relatively easy to choose the right monkeys to beat the balloons. The game still does have several side quests, weekly events, and modes that can make it more challenging, and the easy levels are very relaxing and enjoyable.
