Hi everyone! I’m Caitlin (she/her), a senior studying biomedical computation and coterming in HCI.
My favorite game of all time is Town of Salem, an online adaptation of the game Mafia with expanded roles such as a mediums, serial killers, vampires, werewolves, witches, etc that have different immunities, powers, and moral alignments (neutral, chaotic evil, etc) beyond the standard townie, cop, doctor trio. I love the animations and visualizations of the different in-game actions and enjoy the interactive chat that players can use to write out their alibis and vote. You can join a room with friends or play with random people.
I’ve recently enjoyed playing with the Fidget section of the Tappy app, that has a whole ecosystem of different buttons, controllers, dials, drawing tools, etc that are associated with different haptic patterns and sounds. I found it fantastic for managing restlessness and general anxiety at the end of winter quarter!
