  1. Your grandfather went missing years before you were born, and you always heard that he was an old man who was too obsessed with finding some great treasure. One day, you find a box of his old things in the closet, and it seems to be all of his research in pursuit of this treasure. The goal would be to figure out where exactly the treasure is and whether your grandfather ever made it there. (embedded narrative, discovery/narrative/fantasy)
  2. You are essentially sent on a scavenger hunt, and X marks the spot. You are given a piece of the map of Stanford’s campus. You have to figure out where the map is leading you, and at each location that it sends you, you have to solve a puzzle in order to gain more of the map. The goal is to create the whole map and make it to the final destination and find the treasure. (enacting narrative, narrative/fantasy/fellowship)
  3. You are a pirate who has just awoken in the hull of a ship, tied down and alone, being punished for attempting a mutiny against your captain. You have to explore the ship, gain allies, avoid enemies, and collect weaponry so that when you finally make it to the captain’s room you can defeat him and free your crew from his tyrannical rule. (enacting narrative, fantasy/narrative/challenge)
