Moodboard:

Possible types of fun: challenge, narrative

1. The main character is the captain’s son but he is bored during the voyage. He adventures aroudn the ship and ocean getting into places he shouldn’t be, going on adventures, and making friends along the way. In the first mission, he meets his seal friend who stays with him for the rest of the game as his sidekick. This would involve moving around, solving puzzles, and trying to beat each level.

2. You are again the child of the captain but this time he or she is a mean parent. The captain is the enemy of the game but the child befriends the shipmates and sea animal friends to take over the ship and restore benevolent order. This would focus more on the narrative and how to persuade people to be on your side.

3. As the child of the captain again, but you live in a fantasy world. You can become a ghost and either haunt and help the crew members. When you dive into the water you become a mermaid and can see the community below the water. Or you can become a bird and fly around as a seagull. This version is more based on fantasy and discovering the features of the game and communities. It will be more creative and the player will not know what’s coming next!
