Hello! Since there seems to be multiple Jasmines in the class, I’ll distinguish myself as Jasmine S. I use she/her pronouns.
My favorite game is Stardew Valley, a video game where you’re a new farmer who has just inherited your grandpa’s farm and you make friends with townspeople (among other things). The game is a nice contrast from the busy modern day life because you can choose to embrace slow living by farming, foraging, fishing, and mining to get resources. The stories you get with the NPCs are one of the best parts of the game. The fact that a single game developer made the entire game as a way to gain game dev skills is also truly amazing.
A game I recently played is Spiritfarer, where you complete quests as you sail a ship to new parts of the world, befriend new spirits, and fulfill the new friends’ wishes (at least that’s the gist of the game so far). The game has great art and interesting stories. It also has a lot of mystery components that make you wonder when you’ll finally get to find out what happened to the characters. This game is also supposed to make you cry very hard at some point according to the reviews, so I’m bracing myself for that 😛
