Feedback from play testing on 10.5.2023
- Movement across the board is boring. We should consider introducing multidirectionality.
- This could be motivated by a pacman dynamic where players want to get to states first to collect votes.
- Also introduce setup procedure of selecting three states for the locations of the debates. When a debate happens, players are automatically moved to the debate location and then redeploy across the map from there on subsequent turns.
- The escalation element of scandal exposure hurting more in later stages is important and will improve the fun of playing once we introduce it.
- Bonuses should more clearly align with the kind of good/bad decision a player makes.
- Real world politics involves a lot of attacking other players and this dynamic is currently missing from the game. Ideas:
- Introduce an attack option each turn in which players can spend money to expose scandals or otherwise harm the fund raising of opponents.
