Game: Pokemon Alpha Sapphire
This game follows a traditional story arc where there is a path the player must follow. The arc is to collect all 8 gym badges, then beat the elite four and become the champion. There of course are more elements/side quests but this is the most fundamental arc that most pokemon games follow. However, there are loops that occur in the game, like fighting pokemon, catching pokemon, and even the concept of defeating trainers like gym leaders, and elite members.
