  1. The player is a single-parent squirrel whose entire winter stash of acorns has been stolen by a fox. With the neighborhood trees already stripped bare and a blizzard fast approaching, the player must venture into increasingly dangerous territory to gather enough food for their family. Cutscenes will establish the narrative and build emotional depth to reinforce the stakes. These will strengthen the player’s investment in the journey. The core type of fun comes from navigating unfamiliar environments in a platforming survival experience. Players must complete runs before nightfall, avoid predators, and meet a target acorn count to keep their family alive. As the game progresses, players also get to explore and experience new parts of the forest, maintaining novelty by introducing new scenery and obstacles.
  2. The player is a squirrel chosen as the guardian of the forest. They are tasked with collecting magical acorns scattered across the kingdom. Each acorn restores part of the forest’s fading spirit and reveals a fragment of a long-lost secret society. Each magical acorn is tied to a puzzle that reveals part of the society’s mysterious backstory. These narrative layers unfold alongside traditional platforming gameplay. Once all the acorns are collected, the player must solve an overarching puzzle by piecing together the fragmented clues they’ve gathered throughout their journey.
  3. This is a multiplayer game. Two players take on the roles of sibling squirrels, each with unique abilities that complement one another. To survive the acorn shortage and prepare for winter, the pair must work together to solve environmental puzzles, avoid predators, and collect enough acorns across a series of obstacle-filled levels. Each level requires strong coordination, where one squirrel might need to distract a predator while their partner slips by. The game emphasizes fellowship, challenge, and discovery.
